Christ’s Psalms, Our Psalms
Currently I am contributing to and also editing a large project called Christ’s Psalms, Our Psalms. It involves the contributions of 16 pastors in total. The project is divided into two works: a Study Resource and a Devotional. The Study Resource is aimed at folks who love to dig into Scripture and would be a handy tool for Bible study groups, Christian teachers and preachers. Among its many useful features is the special attention paid to showing how each Psalm speaks about or points forward to the coming Saviour Jesus Christ. It shows a side of the Psalms that’s hard to find elsewhere.
That same focus is present throughout the Devotional. This volume is meant for personal or family devotions and gives short but meaningful messages which touch the heart and hold out Jesus Christ as the focal point of all of life. Click on any of the highlighted links to learn more.
Weekly Posts
On my website you will find new posts once or twice a week. For the foreseeable future, most posts will deal with Christ’s Psalms, Our Psalms in one way or another. I plan to post one new sample devotion each week. As we go along, I hope to present interviews with the contributors in which they will tell you about their work on the Psalms. Here and there I may also post a piece explaining how to look at the Psalms in a deeper, more Christ-centered fashion.
