The Christ’s Psalms, Our Psalms projectboth the Study Resource and the Devotional – was a labour of love for the sixteen pastors who contributed to it: Richard Aasman, Hendrik Alkema, Reuben Bredenhof, Clarence Bouwman, David de Boer, Arjan de Visser, Peter Feenstra, Peter Holtvlüwer, Marc Jagt, Jack Moesker, Jason Van Vliet, Doug Vandeburgt, Clarence VanderVelde, Rodney Vermeulen, Jim Witteveen, and Dick Wynia.

Each of them has years of experience in the pastoral ministry and their contributions reflect that. Their desire has been to assist Christians and churches in grasping and using the great gospel riches of the Psalms with the hope and prayer that all may more clearly see, with fresh wonder and love, our Saviour Jesus Christ in every Psalm.

Not only are these pastors colleagues in the Ministry of the Word but they all share a connection to the Canadian Reformed Theological Seminary. All have either been trained at that seminary or else currently participate in the training there. The rigorous instruction in the original languages of the Bible and the skill of interpreting and applying Scripture received at CRTS has been a great blessing for these men and their ministries.

*I would like to gratefully acknowledge the dedicated assistance of Rev. Ryan Kampen, also a graduate of CRTS, for so capably and generously assembling the contributions and copy-editing them. As editor I could not have asked for better aid. Working with him has been a great blessing personally and for the project as a whole.  Peter Holtvlüwer
