The Psalms are used by teachers in many ways: for devotions, memory work, class-room singing, and Bible lessons. Poetic features of the Psalms might even come up in Grade 10 English. But which teacher has the time to delve deeply into a psalm in order to explain its meaning and show how it points to the Lord Jesus? Or who has the time to search for examples of poetic devices?
